Do you sell products online through your website?
No - we once did, but we have gone back to our roots and now sell only via our shop in Croston - come & pay us a visit!
Do other people/websites sell your products?
Yes - we liase with a small amount of trusted online and local stores to sell our ‘Wheatsheaf’ branded products who buy them directly from ourselves. If your ever in doubt that something your buying from another supplier is a genuine ‘Wheatsheaf’ product, produced or manufactured exclusively for/from Croston Corn Mill, then give us a call & we can verify it.
Is it cheaper to buy your own branded ‘Wheatsheaf’ products from someone else?
No!!! We always offer the best price on our own Wheatsheaf branded products
(based on the ‘spend over £50 & get 5% off discount’ for retail sales when you collect direct from our shop).
Do you deliver?
Yes we offer a bulk delivery service via our own wagon within the local area. Please call the office on 01772 600202 and we can quote for what you require. We no longer offer a DPD delivery option for small orders as we are not selling through our website.
Are you open weekends?
No - our shop is open Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm. As a small family business, with extremely valued staff members, we made the decision several years ago to just trade during the week. If you are struggling to visit us throughout the week please give us a call - we can (& do) manage to accomodate the majority of customers who want to buy from us outside those hours in various different ways.
Is Croston Corn Mill easy to find?
Yes & no! We are located on the outskirts of the pretty village of Croston, on the road out towards the village of Mawdesley. Our what3words to the driveway entrance are //quaking.deferring.letter (Croston Corn Mill Ltd, Grape Lane, Croston, Leyland, Lancashire PR26 9HB). We are located right next to a small hump back bridge on the river Yarrow, through the tree lined area of Grape Lane, before it turns into Syd Brook Lane heading out towards Mawdesley. We are minutes from Eccleston, Croston, Mawdesley, Breatherton, Tarleton and Ulnes Walton. Technically we are Croston’s best kept secret despite being here for over 40 years! Are you a retail or trade shop?
Actually both! Our shop is predominantly a retail shop but we also supply to verified trade customers too. If you have a business and are wanting to purchase from us then please contact the office on 01772 600202 or email office@thecornmill.com We have strict criteria, a minimum monthly spend threshold and regulations that have to be complied with if you are a Trade buyer. Trade buyers do not qualify for the ‘spend £50 or over and get 5% off discount’ - that is solely for our retail customers.
